ABOUT

Even before becoming an university student, I always had a deep passion for data analysis; in fact, since the high school period I participated in programming classes and completed several projects in order to learn different programming languages such as Pascal, Pearl, Javascript, C++, SQL, Python and R. I am amazed by the ability of science and in particular the amount of data that nowadays we are able to collect to change people’s lives and their perception of many things. Even if I like to keep a broad perspective on science and keep up-to-date on many scientific issues, I always directed my studies towards biology and bioinformatics, but lately I gained interest in every kind of data sources. During my Bachelor, Master, PhD, and industry experience, I spent more than 4 years in several laboratories: I worked in the fields of bioinformatics and statistics, using programming languages such as R, Python, and Bash, and becoming comfortable performing a broad range of in silico, in vitro and in vivo analysis - for details, refer to my CV. My research and the relative knowledge in the field of bioinformatics and molecular genetics resulted in two conference posters, one publication on Scientific Reports, and additional results that have not been published yet. Even if I worked mainly with biological data, I am willing to apply my knowledges in different fields.
